What did flower children/hippies wear?

anybody know?
What did flower children/hippies wear?
They wore tie-dye shirts, bell bottom jeans, flowers in their hair, men and women grew their hair out really long. They wore sandals or went barefoot, peace symbol necklaces, headbands across their foreheads, ...
Reply:They wore whatever they felt comfortable in at the time. I was a %26quot;flower child%26quot; living in San Francisco%26#039;s Haight-Ashbury in the late 1960s, so I speak from experience. I would usually wear bell-bottom jeans, a T-shirt and, if it was chilly, an Army-surplus jacket. I dress pretty much the same way to this day (I was in my 20s then, am now in my 60s -- still live in SF Bay Area), except with regular jeans, not bell-bottoms, and the Army-surplus jacket has been replaced with a windbreaker or a leather bomber jacket. Women would often wear long %26quot;granny dresses,%26quot; jeans, shorts, whatever fit their mood at the time. Headbands, beads and peace symbol pendants were popular accessories for both men and women.
Reply:Bell bottom jeans....smock tops or halters...fringe jackets or vests....no underpants...no bras,,,,visual arts
