When a flower is fully bloomed, how do you feel?

i think its beautiful, but it also makes me sad because i know it will eventually wither and die.
When a flower is fully bloomed, how do you feel?
Good question. One of my plants bloom only once a year, and I enjoy the event from the budding until it falls off the stem.

I immortalize its beauty through pictures.

Then I sadly pick up the fallen blooms and start my wait again for next year.
Reply:peace, wish it was all just that easy.
Reply:Anyone feeling sad to see a fully bloomed flower is the ultimate pessimist. I revel in its beauty and am experienced enough to know it will not last long, hence I do not mourn its impending demise but cherish it more in its full beauty...
Reply:Both sad and happy for it has both actualized its potential as well as reached the place where and when it must begin to die.
Reply:Blessed for so many reasons. First of all to be able to SEE the Beauty. Second to be able to have taken the time to stop and admire this beautiful Creation upon Mother Earth. Enjoying the silence and stillness. Thirdly, to be eye to eye with something so small yet so strong is humbleing and makes one view the world from a different view. Fourthy....I realize that this flower came from a seed....and will produce a seed, all going well for the flower,....that in turn will produce another....I could go on...but i will stop now...4 is a good number.

Every seed holds a promise...and to be able to see a world of beauty inside a single flower...is a gift indeed.

Peace and Love to all
